SkyeBrowse Shifts to Per-Model Pricing for 3D Mapping
SkyeBrowse has restructured its 3D drone mapping service pricing, moving from monthly subscriptions to a per-model fee across three new plans.

SkyeBrowse has launched a new pricing model for its 3D drone mapping platform, shifting from monthly seat-based subscriptions to a fee for each finished model. The company announced three new plans-Commercial, Pro, and Public Safety & Enterprise-designed to offer different levels of processing power, storage duration, and specialized tools.
This per-model structure is intended to make advanced photogrammetry more accessible to smaller commercial drone operators who may not need an enterprise-level monthly commitment. For larger organizations, particularly in public safety, the new tiers provide options with longer-term data storage and enhanced security features.
Three New Pricing Tiers
The source, DRONELIFE, details the specific offerings of each new plan. The following table compares the core features and costs.
| Plan | Cost Per Model | Processing | Claimed Accuracy | Storage | Key Features |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Commercial | $24.99 | 8K | 0.5 inches | 3 months | Core viewing, measuring, annotating, and sharing tools. |
| Pro | $49.99 | 8K | 0.5 inches | 1 year | Adds exports, AI tools, custom white labeling, and custom 3D model import. |
| Public Safety & Enterprise | $199 | 16K | 0.1 inches | 5 years (guaranteed) | Unlimited users, CJIS compliance, evidence management tools. |
SkyeBrowse CEO Bobby Ouyang linked the pricing shift to a broader philosophy of simplifying drone operations at scale. In an exclusive interview with DRONELIFE, Ouyang argued that specialized tools often require specialized users, which can hinder the growth of drone programs.
“Our goal every release is that the user does less,” Ouyang told the publication. He described the ideal workflow as “a two-orbit automated flight, a video upload, and a model a few minutes later.”
New Platform Features Released
Alongside the pricing change, SkyeBrowse introduced several new features to its platform. A new Import Custom 3D Model tool allows users to bring GLB or STL files into a captured scene. Users can then position, rotate, and scale these imported objects, which could be used to visualize proposed construction or equipment placements.
For investigative work, a new Case Gallery feature enables multiple photographs to be attached to a single annotation within a 3D model. This is designed to help public safety teams keep supporting imagery directly linked to specific locations in a scene.
The company has also added functionality for users to upgrade models created under its free tier to a paid plan. When upgrading, higher-tier tools become available immediately while the platform rebuilds the full-resolution model in the background. Microsoft account sign-in is now supported as well.
These updates and the new pricing model collectively target a spectrum of users, from individual pilots generating a handful of models to large agencies managing 3D data as part of formal operational programs. By charging for output rather than monthly software access, SkyeBrowse is betting that more organizations will try and adopt 3D drone mapping.
