Easy Aerial has closed a $20 million Series B funding round to support its next phase of growth. The US-based autonomous drone company plans to use the capital to increase manufacturing capacity, strengthen international operations, and meet rising demand for defense-focused aerial intelligence systems.

The funding round was backed by Insight Partners, Entrée Capital, and private US investors. This backing reflects continued investor confidence in companies developing autonomous technologies for military, government, and critical infrastructure applications.

Easy Aerial says the fresh capital will be used to expand production, support international defense programs, grow its global footprint, and continue investing in autonomous aerial technologies. The announcement comes as governments worldwide accelerate spending on intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance capabilities amid evolving security challenges.

The company has been on a growth streak in recent months, securing multiple new defense and security contracts across the United States and international markets. As demand for persistent aerial intelligence grows, the company says it is scaling both manufacturing and operational capabilities to keep pace.

Shahar Abuhazira, CEO of Easy Aerial, said the funding marks an important milestone as the company executes its long-term growth strategy. He added that with new programs underway in the US and overseas, the company is expanding production capabilities, strengthening international operations, and delivering autonomous aerial systems designed to meet the changing needs of defense and government customers worldwide.

Mike Hayes, Managing Director at Insight Partners and an Easy Aerial board member, said the company’s technology addresses a growing need for reliable, mission-ready aerial intelligence without adding operational complexity. He also noted increasing demand for trusted, US-built drone technologies as governments seek more secure and resilient supply chains.

Easy Aerial specializes in autonomous tethered drone systems that provide persistent aerial surveillance for defense, force protection, perimeter security, emergency response, and critical infrastructure monitoring. Unlike conventional drones, tethered systems remain airborne for extended periods by drawing continuous power from the ground, making them valuable for long-duration surveillance missions.

The company has also expanded manufacturing into Europe, complementing its growing global production and integration network as it positions itself to serve defense, government, and commercial customers worldwide.
