ANRA Launches VISTA for Shared Drone Airspace Awareness
ANRA Technologies has introduced VISTA, a receive-only application that provides drone operators with a visual interface for shared UTM data, enhancing situational awareness without requiring changes to existing flight systems.

ANRA Technologies has launched VISTA, a receive-only application that enhances situational awareness for drone operators sharing low-altitude airspace. The new tool, called Visual Interface for Shared Traffic Awareness, provides an additional layer of airspace awareness without connecting aircraft to UTM services or submitting flight plans.
VISTA is designed for public safety agencies, enterprise drone programs, and other authorized operators. It uses an easy-to-understand visual interface to make shared UTM information accessible. Operators gain this insight without needing to change their existing aircraft, flight applications, or operational systems. The application is intended to complement current procedures.
Targeted for Critical Operations
The application specifically supports public safety and emergency response scenarios where airspace awareness is vital. For these agencies, VISTA can provide greater awareness of other drone operations near emergency scenes. It can be consulted before takeoff and during missions to help teams, such as Drone as First Responder (DFR) units, make informed decisions while responding to incidents.
More than 20 organizations, primarily DFR programs, already use ANRA’s visualization capability to improve awareness of drone activity in their operating areas. VISTA presents flight intent and position information available through the UTM ecosystem. Drone delivery, infrastructure inspections, and other commercial operations are expanding, and UTM services coordinate these flights.
Operational Benefits Without System Changes
VISTA delivers enhanced awareness without requiring modifications to existing aircraft, flight applications, or operational procedures. It helps operators make better-informed decisions by providing preflight and in-flight awareness. Operators can check relevant drone activity before launch and maintain awareness during mission progress.
Amit Ganjoo, founder and CEO of ANRA Technologies, highlighted the growing need. "As more organizations operate drones in the same airspace, knowing what else may be flying nearby becomes increasingly important," he said. VISTA provides nearby operational awareness, allowing users to view available information about drone flight intentions and reported positions around a mission area.
Supporting High-Volume Operations
VISTA builds on ANRA’s experience supporting high-volume drone operations through its UTM platform. That platform currently supports approximately one drone mission every 15 seconds during daytime operations. With more aircraft from different organizations sharing the same low-altitude airspace, operators may have limited awareness of nearby activity, especially when flights are managed by different organizations.
Utilities, infrastructure operators, and commercial drone programs can use VISTA to gain visibility into activity around inspections, maintenance missions, and other routine operations. The application provides simple airspace visualization, presenting shared operational information in a format operators can quickly interpret.
Ganjoo added, "VISTA makes shared airspace information easier to access and understand without requiring operators to change how they fly." ANRA is offering demonstrations to organizations interested in the application. Companies and agencies can contact ANRA Technologies to schedule a demonstration and evaluate VISTA's integration with their current operations.
