SPARC AI Partners with European OEM for GPS-Denied Drone Tech
SPARC AI has signed an MOU with a major European drone manufacturer to integrate its Overwatch positioning system on two fixed-wing UAVs, aiming for commercial deployment in GPS-denied environments.

SPARC AI Inc. has signed a memorandum of understanding with a major European drone original equipment manufacturer. The agreement covers the integration and evaluation of SPARC AI's Overwatch Intelligence positioning technology on two new fixed-wing unmanned aerial vehicle platforms. Financial terms and the manufacturer's identity were not disclosed. The MOU outlines a clear path toward commercial deployment following successful independent testing and validation.
This European integration expands the potential deployment base for Overwatch. It supports the commercial thesis that SPARC AI is building tangible routes to market. The company will provide engineering, training, and technical support for the integration. The manufacturer will conduct the independent testing with SPARC AI on standby.
Overwatch Intelligence Proven in GPS-Denied Environments
Overwatch Intelligence is designed to determine an aircraft's precise position when GPS signals are jammed, spoofed, or simply unavailable. The system has been field-proven through independently verified live trials. Operators conducted these trials using their own aircraft under real-world GPS jamming conditions in Ukraine and GPS spoofing conditions in the Middle East.
In one instance, a government ministry flew Overwatch on its own drones under spoofing conditions. The system successfully obtained the aircraft's position and then the coordinates of a target. Overwatch provides mission commanders with a consolidated operational view. It displays connected aircraft positions, observation data, and movement history on a single map even when GPS is denied.
This capability supports coordinated operations requiring situational awareness across multiple aircraft. Fixed-wing UAVs typically fly farther and remain airborne longer than multirotor drones. This makes reliable positioning in degraded environments particularly critical for extended missions. Overwatch is a dual-use product with applications in defense, commercial, and emergency response markets.
The same network that positions drones under jamming also serves commercial operators. They need reliable positioning where GPS is unavailable, such as inside critical infrastructure, in urban canyons, or during disaster response. SPARC AI is receiving commercial interest alongside its defense engagements.
Commercial Pathway Through Independent Validation
The new MOU sets the stage for potential commercial deployment. Success hinges on the upcoming independent testing and validation phase. SPARC AI's software-only approach uses telemetry from existing drone systems. It transforms low-cost inertial sensors already onboard into precision instruments without adding hardware.
This method requires no external signals or complex integration. Commercial success will ultimately depend on customer adoption and the conversion of trials into paid deployments. The company has also engaged a regional advisory firm in the Middle East. This firm will support SPARC AI in converting its successful regional validation into commercial and defense contracts with government customers there.
SPARC AI Inc. is a defense technology company publicly traded on the Canadian Securities Exchange. Its flagship product, Overwatch, is delivered as a stateless service. It ingests telemetry from drones and other systems to return absolute latitude and longitude without relying on GPS. The European MOU is one of several engagements with manufacturers and operators in the region. These range from evaluations on other platforms to advanced commercial discussions. Independent test results and subsequent commercial contract signings will determine the next phase of deployment.
