ABZ Innovation launched the C30 industrial cleaning drone on October 23, 2026. The heavy-duty unmanned aircraft system is now available for order through distribution partners in more than 40 countries. The Hungary-based company, recognized as a leading European drone technology firm, designed the C30 for cleaning steel structures, tanks, silos, wind turbines, and heavy machinery at heights previously requiring scaffolding.

The system works with compatible ground-based pressure washing equipment. ABZ Innovation's extensive network of partners provides operator training, spare parts, and long-term technical support globally. The C30 is a cleaning machine that flies, not a camera drone with a hose attached, according to company chief executive and co-founder Károly Ludvigh. It is manufactured at the firm's Szentendre facility, which opened in September 2026 as one of Europe's largest civilian drone factories.

Technical specifications and performance

The C30 operates at a pressure of 500 bar (approximately 7,250 psi). It is offered in two flow rate configurations to suit different cleaning demands. The drone uses a sealed airframe and an integrated radar system for surface tracking to maintain a consistent cleaning distance and withstand spray and humidity.

ConfigurationPressureWater Flow Rate
Compact500 bar15 liters (4 gallons) per minute
Maximum Industrial500 bar30 liters (7.9 gallons) per minute

The system is built for heavy cleaning work at height and can clean surfaces up to 120 meters (394 feet) high. Compatible ground equipment can supply heated water at 70 to 80°C for cleaning oily, greasy, or fuel-based residues.

Operational advantages over traditional methods

The C30 eliminates the need for scaffolding, industrial rope access, or placing personnel at height. A demonstration in Visonta, Hungary, showed its efficiency. There, the drone cleaned a 600-square-meter facade with 30 years of bonded carbon in less than one working day using water alone. A scaffolding contractor had quoted roughly a week to complete the same job.

In another case study at Viresol in Visonta, the C30 cleaned a contaminated raised structure that had accumulated grime over 7 to 8 years. The drone completed the task in about 1.5 hours using a specialized spray lance. The system is also intended for paint, coating, and rust removal, subject to appropriate equipment settings and surface suitability.

Industry applications and certification

The C30 is certified for heavy-duty industrial cleaning. It joins the C10 model in ABZ Innovation's C-Series, which is certified under EU C5 regulations. The C10 is designed for precision cleaning of glass, facades, roofs, and solar panels up to 60 meters high.

Intended applications are broad. They include cleaning steel frameworks, bridges, industrial building exteriors, silos, tanks, piping, excavators, mining equipment, industrial cranes, concrete, and formwork. For North American customers, enterprise teams are available to provide information on availability, compatible equipment configurations, and pricing.

The C30 will be showed at the ElevateUAV 2026 event in Florida on November 17-18.
